School-Based Services
We provide customized services to schools and districts around integrating financial independence principles into the existing curriculum and building capacity to teach these principles within any standards-aligned curriculum in any subject area. We also partner with schools to work directly with students in financial independence workshops during the school day or Saturday academies.
Customized Student Programs
We facilitate programs for both middle and high school-age students. Our consultants work with students virtually as well as onsite.
Our programs are offered during the school day as well as on Saturdays through our Saturday Academy program. We customize our sessions for every school that we work with to ensure that students are getting the appropriate support for their unique learning needs.
Professional Development Support
We understand that educators on all levels see the value in providing this kind of learning experience to their students. Generation Wealth provides professional development to support educators with the planning, implementation and/or the revision of financial literacy within their curriculum, assessment and instructional practice.
Authentic Learning & Assessment Experiences
Generation Wealth understands that financial literacy is an area that can be embedded into existing curricula across most content areas. We work with educators to help them make these authentic connections.
We believe the best way to assess if students are able to apply what they know is to do it in a way where they don’t really know that they are being assessed! We use thought-provoking discussion, real-time polls, and games as formative assessments. Many of our programs also engage students in authentic culminating assessment experiences that are relevant and timely for the kinds of financial decisions that they are making at their age.
We have over a decade of experience in designing and modifying curricula and assessments to meet the needs for 21st-century learners.
